Slovakia: Our summer holidays

With students we are preparing presentations of places which students want to visit during the holidays. So each student will introduce one place. Today we learned to make albums. We made albums from the photographs which students will use in presentations. They made albums at www.mixbook.com.

That picture there put our Polish friends. Our task was to find what is in the picture. Nathanael found it. It is Heide-Park in Germany.

Slovakia: Our blogs

Pupils created their own blogs today. They wrote a little about themselves, their city, about music, pets .... and about etwinning  project. We were inspired by our Polish friends. Pupils learned to add photos from offer tools of Web 2.0 from our project. Children created Word Searches, quizzes, they added photos in Picture trail too. It was very fun!

The flight

At the end of the winter, children experimented with a camera. Except for animation named Animation about traveling they have made the other animation. They have tried to take pictures of themselves on the moving near the river Laborec, while they were still moving a little bit further. They have had to take a lot of shooting photos (they are saved in TwinSpace). Then they have saved photos in Movie Maker and created a film. Then we uploaded the film to Vimeo. Here is the result:

Poland: The Experiment of May

In May our pictures are especially beautiful.

Students took pictures on Wednesday. They were divided into four groups again. Each group chose its place.

 

Slovakia: Maxidaffodil

Private Primary Art School Múza and our school (Primary School Dargovských hrdinov) already 5-times involved in the activities launched by the League Against Cancer, which annually organizes a public collection. Students with their musical or artistic activities got attention to adults. They give money to help for cancer patients. Also in this year's dominating symbol of the fight against cancer - daffodil. We created it of colored caps of PET bottles in the town center. Before this activity, was collected about fifty 120 liter bags of caps from PET bottles. Eight primary schools involved there. Students collected lids red, orange, yellow, white, blue and green colour. Picture of daffodil measured about 40x50 meters. "We hope that our efforts have had a sense that we help those who need it."
